Located on the top of a hill right after Guardia Civil and The World Gym Center you find Bar Marin. You can hardly see it from the street. It is as local as it gets; Tables inside, terrible bright spot light, poorly decorated, and still it does not matter, because the food is great! It is very simple: Bread, olive oil, lemons, and the seafood/fish ordered, nothing else. We go for their mussels, they have two kinds. We often take both, but be sure to take the franchese if only one of them. Then they have the best gambas pil pil in town, soak the bread in the garlic-chili oil that the shrimps are cooked in and enjoy. “A la plancha” means fried on a pan, and frito is deep fried in oil. We also often take the tuna steak, ask for it to be only slightly cooked or else they over cook it. Order “medio racion”, which means half size portion, they are big already. Closed on Mondays.
