Malaga

Only 30 minutes with the train from Alora to Malaga centre you can spend the day exploring the Plaza de la Merced, the Alcazaba, the Roman theatre, Malaga’s narrow winding streets, art galleries, museums etc. The new Carmen Thyssen Museum opened in the impressive palace in Malaga, featuring works by Degas, Joan Miró, Picasso and many other world famous artists. You can explore the narrow street on foot or even take a four hour bike tour acquainting you with much of what the city has to offer.

2015 saw the opening of two new museums in Malaga city, The Pompidou centre, a branch of the famous Parisian gallery and a branch of the Russian St Petersburg Hermitage museum will open.
