Alora has many great restaurants and tapas bars, which offer traditionel and local Spanish food. Many of them are only a 20 minutes’ walk or a 5 minutes’ drive from FuegoBlanco.
We recommend these:
Los Caballos – a typical place for the Spanish families to meet, big outdoor area with barbeque on Sundays with roasted chicken and lot of cold beer.
De Kñas Tapas Bar – tapas Spanish style, menu card with lot of tapas for just 1 euro, and the quality is still high and the food very tasty.
Bar El Luga – small place with beautiful tasty tapas menu.
Casa Abilio – tapas with creative details. This is maybe the most special restaurant in Alora. The tapas is made in a special way with an extra touch of creativeness.
La Rampa – The first two photos below are from La Rampa, our small favorite tapas bar. It is pure rural Spain! Small tables, very tight room, and the wall is fully decorated with personal photos and pictures.
Bar Marin – Small local fish restaurant. The location is a small street to Alora’s main street. It is a small, not particularly flashy room with few tables inside and outside, it does not look of much, but they have fantastic seafood such as mussels, tuna, prawns and much more. Be aware, they prepare the tuna steaks well done, if you do not ask for rare, so are you into fresh, lightly grilled tuna, you have to tell them.
La Lonja de Mamely – small fish restaurant on the main street. Small white table and chairs outside with a big kitchen window from which the waiters get handed food. It is a fantastic setting and a nice way to eat lunch or dinner. They have both menus and tapas, all very recommendable. Our favourite is the fresh tuna on sticks lightly grilled.
Los Conejitos – a traditionel Spanish restaurant middle range price level, only open in weekends and often used for weddings and other types of family gatherings.
